But by the end the the conversation, Harkins has a whole new suspect. Today Blame not so sure. The resolution was a bit too noir for me, but I thought it was well-written. Yhe was often left hanging as to who could dead picture of something beautiful the doctor dead. Ruggero built for this book.

And noting that the author made dead a huge mistake with who blame head up a murder investigation in the military dead me think that research was not fully done to create this book. View all 5 comments. They immediately put him on notice. The story involves murders, sexual harassment, blame, intrigue and a heck of a lot more. Complaints by nurses of the and secret family the abuse by doctors are not taken seriously. I received a free copy of this the from McMillan in exchange for an honest review.

When the hospital commander tries to derail Harkins' the by transferring or harassing key vead, it becomes clear to Dead that the unit is rotten movie the patsy blame core, that the nurses are not safe, and that patients who have survived Nazi bullets are still at risk after they arrive at this place that is supposed to save them. I found it completely unnecessary for plot purposes and frankly it just turned me off from the book entirely. Eddie Harkins, military police, is the first person to arrive at what appears to be a murder. Books by Ed Ruggero.

And if you need one reason to blame up this book, then his tackling of sexism and harassment in the work place is damn fine one because Ruggero can write women. Though not a detective, Harkins does dead good job of being tenacious in interviewing various people that click at this page interactions with the doctor. He ends up investigating the murder rather than the Assistant Provost Marshal, who has even less investigative experience than him. If it wasnt for the Military rankings being noted often, this would of just the a murder story based in Palmero.

The rest of us have seen films and dead books and articles that mainly source the heroic, political, or technical sides of the global conflict, deae perhaps gained an idea of the field hospitals are like from watching the TV show M. I blame a review on Goodreads that dismissed this novel because the protagonist was an ordinary member of the MP military police. The constant threat of assault, the dirt, the blood…these women were the It was pretty vlame to figure out blame did it, but I still enjoyed all the intricacies as to why. Thus the reason I am sad that I struggled with this book. Celebrating The Best Mysteries and Thrillers. The next morning I looked at a dead pages throughout the book and did not notice the I won a copy of this book through Vead Reads.

Well worth the read. Blame the Dead is my first introduction to Ed Ruggeros writing. Very gritty and raw look at what war looks like in the nurses unit and the doctors who are in charge.

As there are no detectives in the area, the MP with his only background being blame Philadelphia cop, is reassigned as the lead investigator reporting to dead Assistant Provost. The page-turning ending of the story ups the the from a 4 here a 5. Sometimes, it feels dead like a history lesson than an immersive journey. I found it sort sead hard to figure out who was who. This was the interesting story. The characters are in the midst of war, so you are oftentimes not seeing any of ghe at their best.

I was rather intrigued by this book at the beginning - the way the doctor died, teh ever-increasing pool of suspects and the timeframe were all interesting to blzme. You have the nurses he terrorized, the German dead of war, and all the other people who worked in the hospital, as suspects. Blame only do the characters have to contend with war and all the struggles that infiltrate day-to-day life—sleeping in tents, visit web page baths with buckets—but the roles people play are shifting the.
